Chief Petty Officer Tyrol is one Battlestar Galactica's chief petty officer of Deck Crew Five. Tyrol is in his 30s and has fifteen deck hands under his command of Deck Crew Five which includes Cally, Socinus, and Prosna. He is rugged, with the worn look of a man who's spent a lifetime working in and around big machines. The crew would do anything for him and the officers respect him. His deck crew is responsible for restoring Commander Adama's old viper from the first Cylon war. Tyrol admires Commander Adama and serves him extremely well during the Cylon attack. Besides his sense of duty, Tyrol had a secret relationship with Raptor pilot Lt. Sharon Valerii. Under Tyrol's guidance, Deck Crew Five performs extremely well in saving the Galactica from destruction despite casualties. |
