Hobbies/Interests:

 Rowan likes to hike up to the tops of cliffs only to soar down.  She also learned how to fight with a sword as well as hand on hand combat.  Her father taught her some of his skill with healing.  She liked to go hunting as well as enjoys singing and drawing.

Character History

History:

 Rowan grew up on the planet Taryn with her family.  Her father was the healer of her people and her mother was a counselor to the ruler.  Growing up her father taught her how to heal but she would often go off to watch the guards. 

She finally managed to get Bowen, the head of the guards, to teach her sword work and how to handle herself in bare hand fighting.  She enjoyed learning this and did at one time have a crush on Bowen but later grew out of it.  

When she was 19 her people fell under attack.  During the battle she was wounded in her shoulder and was left for dead.  She woke up some time later to find no one about except a few of the enemy. 

She was in no shape to fight them though at this point.  She snuck away to the caves in order to try and heal.  By the time she was strong enough to leave the enemy had left as well and she could find nothing left of her people but bodies. 

She does not know if any were taken as slaves or if some escaped.  She salvaged what she could and took one of the remaining ships. 

Leaving the planet for the first time in her she went hunting for those who destroyed her world.  She did find some on a few out planets but she has yet to find the main group. 

During her travels she also heard rumors of other winged people but rumor only. 
 
 

Special Notes: Rowan's bones are very light weight/hollow to allow for her to fly but they are strong and heal quickly if broken.  When going into a new place she will fold in her wings and wears a cape to appear as human as possible.
