Character History

History:

 Born the second son of Melody and Daniel Byron, Isaac was soon involved in the family charter business. By the time he was 15, Isaac was piloting shuttles containing cargo and passengers on the shorter interplanetary hops. Isaac’s older brother Marcus joined the military, quickly becoming an outstanding pilot. He was assigned to the Colombia under the direction of Captain Lee Adama.

Hoping to follow in his brother’s footsteps, Isaac joined up as well, but had to wait for flight classes to begin. Isaac was on his way to flight training when the Cylons struck. Their virus rendered the shuttle he was on inoperable.

The Galactica found the shuttle Hyperion floating dead in space. There were numerous casualties already from the failure of the life support system. The remaining survivors were moved into the medical bay, where more of them died soon from oxygen deprivation.

Isaac is now the only survivor of the Hyperion. He remains in stable condition, though he has been in a coma since his recovery from the shuttle. The Galactica’s doctors remain hopeful that he will pull through, but there are some concerns he may have suffered some neural damage. Whether or not his is the case remains to be seen.
