When Breena was four years old, she had no idea how harsh the world was. It wasn't until she was sent to live with her Aunt on Caprica after her parents, Robert and Karly where killed in a bombing on a government building on Sagatarius.

It would be years before Bree would learn the truth of that day and who caused it. While on Caprica she grew up under the misguided hand of Naomi Lands, her aunt. Naomi didn't know how to handle raising a child, so she did the best she could and didn't give Breena that many registrations growing up.

By the time she entered flight school she and her aunt had an understanding, Naomi could have her life and she could have hers.

During flight school, she made friends quickly and got the codename, Tigger, branded on her after a night of being drunk, got a tattoo of Tigger the cartoon on her lower back. Once she graduated there, she was offered the chance to join the command college, for officer’s candidate training.

An instructor thought that she would be a good asset to have, since her skills with fight machines was very impressive. There in college she learned of the events of Sagatarius and learned that the building were her parents were killed, it was attacked by none other then Tom Zarek.

With the realization of this truth, she took a knife and sliced her hand, creating a scar she vowed to one day take revenge on him for the lives he took from her, saying, blood for blood.

Once she graduated Command College, she was ranked at Lieutenant JG and raptor pilot onboard he Galactica. Shortly after her arrival there, she got word that Caprica had been attacked by the Cylons, billions where dead, including her only family, Naomi. Again, Bree made vow to make the Cylons pay, at all costs.
